Tribeza Fashion Show

Lights! Camera! GO! It’s fashion season, and who says all the fun has to be on the East Coast? Keeping in step with the marathon that is Fashion Month, High Beam had our own fashion fun by producing the homegrown - and much anticipated - TRIBEZA Fashion Show, sponsored by Lexus of Austin. The pinnacle of the annual eight-day Style Week hosted by locally loved TRIBEZA magazine, this year’s show was a nod to all things Austin. From its rugged yet urbane ambiance to the understated ensembles walking the runway, the event took us back to the casual roots of our fair city.

The action started months ago with planning, site visits and countless brainstorms as High Beamer, Kara Florez, and TRIBEZA Events + Marketing Coordinator, Maggie Bang, put their heads together to create an unforgettable experience.

Held at the newly minted eastside venue Fair Market, the show delivered that high-wattage-meets-warehouse contrast we love while also keeping in step with its elegant history.

Back for a third year, Matt Fajkus Architecture brought together warm lighting, earthy tones and raw materials to create a gorgeous runway backdrop that fit perfectly with the event’s back-to-basics mood.

It wouldn’t be a September fashion show without a sampling of the season’s new (and vintage) threads from some of our favorite local shops!

Did I mention we danced the night away with sounds from The Nightowls?
